I think you're right about the similarity between english and chinese ancient language when it comes to verses or poems. I sometimes feel modern chinese is less powerful in expression, less neat and tend to be prolix 9 u, z1 T$ S, Z' n7 B- {7 i1 b3 p- P& s# T) C2 Q6 H
and I like the idea of yours that we communicate more here 3 s& k5 ~& E9 b8 |4 c- Wjust that this corner does not seem to attract many visitors.
